Disciples Escoffier Thailand Delegation: 3rd Chef Talk 2015

With the theme “La Rentrée” after the summer break, the third Chef Talk of the Disciples Escoffier Thailand Delegation was held at Mrs. Balbir's Indian Cuisine on 25th August. Mr. Laurent Pousse, President of the delegation gave a warm welcome and celebrated “La Rentrée” with members and friends of the Disciples Escoffier. He took the opportunity to introduce Panuvit, the YTT candidate representing Thailand on the journey to quality for the World Young Chef Escoffier competition in Europe. Good luck to Panuvit and we certainly look forward to the upcoming Chef Talks in Thailand!

YTT Team Thailand: Winner of the YTT 2015!

The winner of YTT this year is team Thailand! Congratulations to the Thailand delegation and Panuvit representing Thailand. He found the chocolate tart the biggest challenge for him throughout the competition but he was able to improve his knife skills, one of the most rewarding learning experiences he has had.
"I've learnt how to be a good chef", he said during the interview. He was blessed to be in a competition with many strong candidates and he appreciates the friendship and the bonding with them, which he believes is the spirit of the competition.
