Disciples escoffier China, Shanghai delegation was pleased to start the year 2017 with the first epicurean dinner on January 28th at ‘La Cabane’ bistro restaurant. A restaurant in the art of Shanghai French concession opened and run by Chef Julien Thierry.
The dinner served for our 30 epicureans consisted of traditional French cuisine included the not to be missed cheese fondue. A French classic dish served up in the cold month of the mountainous area of Savoie.
The simple but exquisite menu also included some amazing duck foie gras terrine, as well as some mountainous dry ham and cheeses, all imported from France.
As it is the tradition for our epicurean dinner, we started with a nice cocktail comprising of some French canapes and of course French Champagne.
We look forward to next month epicurean dinner at Andaz Hotel in Xintiandi for a menu created by Chef Lucien.
