Introduction 

May 2016 as well saw the birth of the DEYTT Asia finalists in Vietnam and China.

At the New World Saigon Hotel, the Disciples Escoffier Vietnam (21st May) delegation organised the regional selection with ingredients from the competition sponsors. Keith Nguyen from the Noir Restaurant was announced the winner at the gala dinner with Michelin-starred chef Hervé Rodriguez. Each finalist is given intensive training before they become ready to compete with their competitors from the other Asian regions.
