Graduated in the early 80’s 1st with a Bachelor in F&B Management then a College degree in Tourism. His career started with “Club Mediterranee” where he built his foundation as an MC and Entertainer around the world. In late 80’s he went back to France in South of France to combine his passion for Basket Ball at National level and leading the Tourism dept of a 3*** resort as entertainment Director.
1998 a 360-degree change in life as he moved to China 1st to learn Mandarin then to go back to his 1st passion Food and wines through various Management positions and International events coordination. 1999. “The Fortune 500” in Shanghai under the lead of Chef Robert Fontana. 1st International Event
2000. F&B Manager of Ashanti Dome one of the 1st Fine Dining in Shanghai 2001. F&B Manager part of the Team creating “La Maison” 1st International Cabaret in China in the new entertainment district in Xintiandi Shanghai.
2004. His career took a different path as he joined Foster’s Companies to Manage all over Asia international events linked to the Brand. Formula 1 in Shanghai. International Model competitions. Macau Gd Prix F3. Qingdao Beer Festival etc…! 2008 and further until 2014 He took another path to join companies in Macau and Hong Kong in food service, sourcing Products and leading sales team to cater for the high end HORECA market.
Since 2014 Laurent has joined The Mall Group “Gourmet Market “In Thailand as GM for the Fresh Delicatessen dept, developing Dine In concept and sourcing the best products around the world for the Thai consumers and liaising directly with Countries Excellences and Commissioners to develop International food events. Beside his regular activity he is a Food and Wine expert acting as Consultant and Food event presenter for SOPEXA, CNIEL, UBI FRANCE… He is as well the official MC for Asia Pacific of the prestigious Chef Competition “Bocuse d’Or"
